Charlbury Lane by Iron Orchid Designs is a collection of charming English village cottages that will capture your heart completely. Each building is individually detailed with the kind of architectural character you find in the most beautiful English villages - and the cottages are designed to butt naturally together to create a complete village streetscape that feels entirely convincing.
The mould contains four individual buildings plus a Charlbury Lane street sign. The tallest is a narrow Gothic style townhouse in brick with cathedral arched windows, a climbing rose around the doorway and pointed gabled roof - elegant and full of romantic detail. The central cottage is a broader stone built property with a Gothic arched dormer, bay window, arched front door and beautifully rendered stonework throughout. The third building is a Tudor influenced stone cottage with a steeply pitched roof section and leaded window details. The fourth is a timber framed building with characteristic exposed beams, leaded casement windows and a pitched roof - quintessentially English in character.
Every surface is packed with fine detail - brick courses, stone textures, roof tiles, window glazing bars and architectural flourishes are all rendered with exceptional precision. These cottages are a joy to paint and customise, and the results are truly spectacular.
Perfect for Christmas village displays, shadow boxes and illuminated nightlight projects, Charlbury Lane is equally beautiful as a year round decorative piece. Cast in air dry clay, paint them individually or arrange them together as a complete village scene.
This mould measures 6" x 10" (15.2cm x 25.4cm) and is food safe, oven safe to 218°C / 425°F and BPA free.
